This position provides marketing communications support to Mercy Care. Mercy Care is a not-for-profit Medicaid managed-care health plan, serving AHCCCS members in Arizona since 1985. Mercy Care provides access to physical and behavioral health care services for Medicaid-eligible families, children, seniors, and individuals with developmental/cognitive disabilities. Among those to whom we provide access to these services are members who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid (AHCCCS). We do this through our dual-eligible special needs plan, Mercy Care Advantage.Mercy Care is administered by Aetna Medicaid Administrators, LLC, a CVS Health Company. This position is 100% dedicated to Mercy Care.The Marketing Communications Account Manager's main role is to create and execute marketing communications plans and materials to support business strategies and to favorably position Mercy Care as the Medicaid health plan of choice in Arizona.This role provides marketing communications consultative services, including writing, editing, collaboration with creative teams and vendors, and applicable project management to assigned business areas within the health plan. Responsibilities include:• Consulting with stakeholders as appropriate. These may include internal leadership, members, providers, community partners, regulators and other key stakeholders, on marketing/communications initiatives critical to health plan success.

• Planning, developing and executing communications campaigns and materials (e.g., publications, marketing materials, digital ads, , scripts, special events, meetings) as applicable. These will include member-directed communications and may also include provider-directed communications depending on business need.
• Managing communications projects end to end (e.g., budget, resources, development, production, distribution, evaluation).Health care is a highly regulated industry. This role also serves as a subject matter expert in the achievement and maintenance of accreditation activities, successful completion operational reviews/audits and adherence to federal, state and internal policies and procedures.About our team:

Arizona residency is required.

7 years' minimum experience in marketing, communications, public relations, and/or journalism (or any combination).

Strong writer, including AP style; skilled use of MS Office, Canva; understanding of graphic design processes, commercial printing processes.

Experience in social media and crisis communications.

Relationships with local media, reporters, publishers.

Understanding of Arizona and its unique cultural differences and considerations.

This position is a full-time work at home position, with occasional need to represent Mercy Care in the community. High-speed internet connectivity at home is required.Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Medicaid and/or Medicare communications and marketing

Experience in healthcare marketing/communications/public relations

Understanding of Arizona's healthcare industry, including political issues/landscape

Bilingual in Spanish

Medicaid lived experienceEducation

The typical pay range for this role is:$60,300.00 - $132,600.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
