In this role, you will have an impact in the following ways:

  • Supports colleagues to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Works with sales staff, customers, and potential customers to resolve technical or engineering issues affecting the sale, installation, and use of company products.
  • Proposes changes to products and services that reduce costs and increase sales.
  • Trains sales staff in technical development.
  • Evaluates products and solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Participates in all technical aspects of sales.
  • Prepares operation manuals, reference materials, or training materials for customers and salespeople.
  • Uses Six Sigma certification to improve operating costs and product reliability and durability for customers.
  • Guides and trains less experienced technical support specialists.
  • Accompanies and follows up on key accounts.
  • Leads teams with external customers.
  • Provides technical support on products.
  • Leads projects.

To succeed in this position, you will need the following:

  • Technical Support Knowledge of Cummins products.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Intermediate - Advanced Conversational English.

Education
