(Senior) Medical Affairs Manager - Rare Diseases (m/f/x)

The Opportunity

As a key member of our launch team, you'll spearhead the implementation and management of crucial medical affairs projects for our upcoming HAE treatment. Your role will be instrumental in executing Medical Affairs strategies and tactics on a local level in Germany.

The Role

  • Craft and execute the medical affairs strategy for the assigned portfolio, aligned with broader therapeutic area objectives.
  • Keep abreast of therapeutic trends and opportunities, collaborating closely with local functions, global R&D, and regional commercial teams.
  • Develop and execute strategies for scientific engagement with the medical community, including key opinion leaders and patient advocacy groups.
  • Coordinate investigator-led studies and research collaborations, ensuring adherence to Good Publication Practice.
  • Collaborate with the Real-World Evidence generation lead on company-sponsored non-interventional studies, from development to analysis and publication of results.
  • Provide medical consultation to marketing, market access, commercial, and research project teams, contributing to promotional and educational materials.
  • Establish annual medical affairs budgets for the assigned portfolio and actively manage and monitor financial forecasts.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) is essential.
  • Preferably 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Previous experience supporting products or devices in Rare Diseases, particularly Hereditary Angioedema, is highly preferred.
  • Clinical experience is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of working in international or global teams.
  • Strong background in Medical Affairs.
  • Language skills: Fluent in German (required), fluent in English (required).
