As a Manager, Accounts Payable supporting Accounting Team, you will be trusted to lead improvement initiatives for Accounts Payable, Disbursement and Inquiry Management activities. You will also drive process improvement, assist the team with achieving KPIs and operational objectives as defined by FRA leadership. This position will contribute in highly effective and efficient end-to-end processes to the Business Function by driving compliance on its area of responsibility, as well as ensure documentation and accurate reporting is in place in Fort Worth, Texas.   • Serve as an escalation point for internal and external collaborators, identifying discrepancies and recommend actions to resolve them.
  • Apply tools and experience in supervising teams development and process stability, including prioritization.
  • Reconcile accounts that the team impacts and cultivate a culture that is customer service focused.
  • Ensure accounts payable team contribute to a timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Own the annual 1099 and 1042 reporting process.
  • Strengthen capabilities of the AP team and business partners by supporting initiatives, as assigned by leadership, in areas of improvements including cross functional dependencies.
  • Contribute to operational excellence, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Assist the team in achieving agreed service levels (SLA) and critical metric targets for the Business function.
  • Work to ensure a diverse and inclusive environment free from all forms of discrimination and harassment.
DELIVERING RESULTS THROUGH TEAM:
  • Ensure the completeness of team's work and handles escalations appropriately.
  • Maintain high engagement levels in the team.
  • Work collaboratively with others outside AP to achieve goals, simplify processes, prevent loss, and to ensure accurate and timely work is completed.

  • Lead a diverse team to deliver results and drive improvements/standard solutions, while driving a high degree of collaboration.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs).
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • 5 Years of Proven Experience.
