We are seeking a full-time physician to join our dedicated Occupational Health team that is focused on promoting the health and safety of more than 11,000 employees committed to this Promise.
Key Opportunity Highlights:
- The Medical Director will be responsible for guiding the provision of care within the Occupational Health Department. This includes occupational illness/injury, physical examinations, medical surveillance, and medical expertise in the matters of the wellness program.
- • pportunity for the development of annual and long-term goals and objectives in collaboration with Human Resources and the Occupational Health management team.
- Provide guidance and create goals to enhance efforts towards employee health, employee safety and well-being for the health system including resources for engagement in national collaboratives and APP's to support the clinical growth and demands of the program.
- Licensed physician (M.D.
• r D.
• .) with passion and experience for treatment of work related and injuries/illness. Applicants with training in DWC guidelines for injury care and 3-5 years of experience in occupational health care are preferred but new trainees will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. - Board certified or board eligible in Occupational Medicine required, however, board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine may also be considered with significant Occupational Health experience.
