Summary:
To provide care to patients at Cook Children's Medical Center under the direction of the medical director. To perform support functions related to unit operations. To support and supplement the health care team in designated areas of the hospital.
Shift: 7p - 7a
(2) 12 hours shifts per week
Must be able to attend a 2-week orientation Monday - Friday 8a - 5p.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year Paramedic experience required.
Certification/Licensure:
- Current Paramedic (EMT-P) certification or license (must maintain and keep active) required.
- BLS required (American Heart).
- PALS within 6 months of hire required.
