Job Summary
The Cloud Automation Specialist is an experienced cloud engineer responsible to define and set the monitoring and automation requirements needed to properly support CN's cloud operation.

The incumbent is to ensures that monitoring tools and automation requirement, including AI Ops, IaC, CI/CD and DevSecOps governance and practices, are delivered for the cloud and platform for a successful operationalization.
Main Responsibilities
Cloud Operation Excellence
• Define, documents, communicate, and enforce monitoring, observability and automation guidelines, standards and best practices.
• Participate to all initiatives related to monitoring, automation, optimization, efficiency, capacity planning, emergency response, change management and process improvements.
• Contribute to the AI Ops roadmap
• Manage capacity performance and support FinOps right sizing effort
• Monitor and maintain system availability and performance.
• Contribute to defining, designing and implementing suitable monitoring and automated processes to optimise the day-to-day support activities.
• Review root cause analysis documents and ensure actions taken to reduce future occurrences with proper monitoring and automation.

Architecture and Project Partnering
• Be an active member of the Cloud CoE representing Operation
• Educating teams on latest observability, monitoring and automation technologies
• Help define and set the monitoring and automation practice that meets the operation requirements
• Work with Cloud integration project to capture key operation support requirements and ensure their implementation and adoption

Requirements
• GCP certifications
• Minimum 5 years overall IT work experience
• At least 2years of experience in the field of cloud computing and monitoring operation with hands-on experience with Infrastructure as code technology such as Terraform and Ansible
• Experience in AI and Machine Learning is an asset
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD technology such as Azure DevOps and Git
• FinOps and Cloud cost control experience is an asset
• Troubleshooting and analytical
