Senior HR & Payroll Specialist

Currently, we are searching for Senior Payroll Specialist with Hungarian, seeking to utilise their knowledge, enhance their skills using a range of innovative tools and solutions and gain further overall experience in a multinational company.

Your future responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive support of recurring payroll activities and processes, including preparation, execution and post-payroll (payroll run, reconciliation, reporting, payroll controls
  • Support the planning and timely execution of annual payroll events
  • Participation in projects designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance
  • Support implementation and transition projects and activities as payroll expert
  • Support project and client management and issue resolutions from a payroll and compliance perspective
  • Coach and support the Jr. specialists and the rest of the Team in payroll and project related matters
  • Support, coordinate and follow-up on legal and compliance process
  • Play a key role in Payroll training and certification of the individual functions within the Team
  • Support and coordinate testing and updates related to payroll system, to ensure payroll and operational compliance and resolution of technical incidents
  • Handling business as usual service-related tasks using the designated systems and tools in a timely and compliant manner

Skills:

  • Fluent Hungarian
  • Communicative English both in written and verbal
  • Team-player attitude
  • Good time and task management skills with the ability to work independently
  • Analytical skills and solution-oriented attitude
  • Confident computer and software skills, relevant for the job (MS Office applications, email, web browser, Windows)
  • Customer support experience would be an asset
  • At least 2 years relevant experience administering Payroll in an HR consulting, HR Outsourcing or Corporate environment
  • Knowledge on payroll processes, practices and associated legislation
  • Overall understanding of the various inputs and outputs such as third-party interfaces, timekeeping, tax filing/compliance, accounting, benefits, and other key areas that integrate with payroll
  • Customer service/support skills
  • The ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as work independently and make sound decisions
