Position Summary:

Partner and consult with business leaders to develop and execute staffing strategies aligned to organizational goals and objectives. Provide direction to recruiters in planning and executing their recruitment functions. Perform full-cycle recruitment for client groups by defining sourcing strategy, generating qualified applicants, assessing talent effectively, partnering with hiring leaders and stakeholders to develop top talent.

Key Responsibilities include:

Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment management, sourcing, selection and offer development. Develop and align social media campaign in partnership with the digital specialist to create recruitment branding and identify diversity resources for advertising. Understand OFCCP compliance related to recruitment, regulations tied to individuals with disabilities and veterans.

People Management Lead

Mentor and develop TA professionals. Establish clear performance expectations by coaching and consistent feedback. Guide team in performing to required levels of output and provide training. Celebrate and recognize team successes.

Process and Recruitment Management

Implement recruitment processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiencies. Partner with key stakeholders on developing and implementing process improvements. Monitor activities and take appropriate action as necessary to ensure efficient and effective recruitment management is implemented. Monitor processes, metrics, and budget.

Talent Advisor

Serve as talent advisor for recruitment decisions with knowledge of the organization and expertise for external markets. Work with hiring leaders to design and implement highly effective, results-driven recruiting strategies for assigned groups. Visit client groups to develop thorough understanding of department. Develop strong working relationships with key leaders within the assigned groups, identify and provide solutions for issues and present strong talent solutions for their needs.

Strategic Planning

Evaluate recruitment activities for effectiveness. Incorporate diversity needs into strategic plan and metrics. Consistently analyze staffing trends, metrics and results Design/develop creative and innovative sourcing strategies and technics to build plans and pipelines to meet the strategic goals of the organization.

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
  • Bachelor's Degree
    • Experience may substitute for education
  • Must have experience recruiting staff for a large hospital system or academic research center.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 2 years of that experience in a lead/supervisory/managerial capacity.
  • Must have knowledge of California state employment laws.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office
