Our Opportunity:
Chewy is currently sourcing for a Manager, Pharmacy Operations at our Dallas, TX pharmacy fulfillment center! In this role, you will support a team of top professionals that are committed to providing outstanding care and wellness services for the pet parents and their pets. You will be an integral leader of the pharmacy team and a partner in the overall Chewy eCommerce fulfillment network. Your success will be driven by your ability to lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and incredible customer service.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with the Pharmacist In Charge in overseeing and directing a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and interns
- Uphold operational standards including performance metrics, safety, and compliance
- Perform all related duties and assignments as required for an ecommerce pharmacy
- Focus on customer satisfaction, ensure Chewy provides superior service using standard methodologies and prompt engagement
- Perform personnel management including but not limited to performance management, training and coaching
- Manage daily workflow and adjust work force based on review of workload
- Review and approve pharmacist time off requests
- Review pharmacist attendance daily and complete appropriate coding on timecards
- Work closely with new hires to help train and onboard, as needed
- Review workflow in all areas of pharmacy and address quality improvement opportunities with work force as well as leadership
- Review weekly labor forecast and proactively ensure that staffing levels are adequate; schedule VOT or VTO as needed to properly cover business while also controlling cost
- Develop daily/weekly reports regarding the status of business and disseminate that information to the necessary parties
- Partner with PIC to drive continuous improvement efforts and lead implementation across shifts

What you’ll need:
- Current Texas pharmacist license
- Willing to gain any additional license, as required
- Strong customer service and attention to detail
- Ability to manage a team in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to work a variety of schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Have in-depth understanding of Staff Pharmacist job duties
