DAFgiving360 has entered into a services agreement with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for administrative and other services, including human resources. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and will be subject to its policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to DAFgiving360 for day-to-day activities.
The Business Development Team is responsible for the efficient and effective onboarding of prospective clients and advisors. The Senior Manager, is an individual contributor, who will report to the Director and perform proactive outbound sales activities to onboard Advisors who are not currently engaged with DAFgiving360 to increase new accounts and contributions. You will collaborate with partners in Schwab Advisors Services Sales, Business Development and Transition Services to create relationships with Advisors and promote DAFgiving360 as a value-added solution. You will leverage data to identify and prioritize their sales efforts towards firms with the greatest potential for engagement and growth with DAFgiving360.
What you will be responsible for
- Developing high-impact presentations for key audiences including senior leaders at Schwab Charitable, Charles Schwab & Co., and industry forums within the financial services and non-profit sectors.
- Creating trusted senior-level partnerships across Schwab Charitable and Charles Schwab & Co. to prioritize the new Business Development function as an important tool or expanding key client and advisor relationships.
- Collaborate with internal and external business partners, such as Charitable Consulting, Donor Relations, Charitable Strategies Group and Schwab Advisor Services to enhance the client experience and encourage additional lead sources.
- Apply strategic organizational priorities and segmentation to identify target partners and clients for prioritized engagement and sales activities.
- Deliver presentations that make an impact or influences audiences-large and small-of various disciplines via several mediums and platforms.
- Provide assistance to the Managers on the Business Development team with responding to leads that are created through various channels (telephone, digital, manual).
- Act as an Ambassador for Schwab Charitable, effectively communicating the value proposition of our solution to prospective donors, advisors, and partners across Schwab.
- Apply a broad range of knowledge, skills, and experiences in charitable giving to provide guidance and potential solutions to prospective donors and Advisors to support Business Development efforts.
- Participate in the identification of possible policy and procedural changes within immediate organization to improve the business.
- Exercise judgement in determining the best methods, techniques and approaches for obtaining results.
- Other responsiblities as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Outstanding persuasive sales, relationship management, presentation, communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce as a mechanism for identifying, qualifying, prioritizing and recording new business opportunities.
- Demonstrated passion for sales and philanthropy.
- Outstanding ability as a visual story teller and experienced PowerPoint user who can weave a narrative that is concise, compelling and tailored to specific audiences.
- High agility and ability to lead with a "growth mentality," an activator who can influence and deliver results across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and highly matrixed environment.
- 8+ years of professional experience and a college degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment by absorbing and applying complex information quickly.
- Well-developed time management skills with the ability to organize, manage and juggle competing priorities.
- Outstanding persuasive sales, relationship management, presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to encourage innovation and change by seeking out diverse perspectives to inform continuous improvement opportunities and/or innovative ways to improve.
- Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours during year-end peak season (mid-November to February).
- Ability to travel around 25%.
