As a Manager of Local Marketing, you will partner with local branches to develop integrated marketing plans that drive new leads, conversions, and client consolidations within that community. You will collaborate with branch leaders to set the strategy and develop and implement the execution plan to help nurture these opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle. Your ability to build strong relationships with our sales force and understand local communities, demographics and psychographics of that local audience are keys to success in this role. It is expected that 20% of the Manager's time is spent in the local markets they support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate daily with the local branch partners to act as their marketing and lead generation thought partner: identify opportunities, deepen the engagements, and coach Financial Consultants on meeting identified goals.
  • Develop annual marketing plan that elevates the branch network within the local community, delivers leads and provides opportunities to nurture these relationships.
  • Build and maintain effective working partnerships across the Marketing organization (PR, local advertising, events, social media, sponsorships and memberships).
  • Proactively identify new growth opportunities for the branch teams, and help them to determine and execute related plans.
  • Act as an accountable partner in the local branch team's success, and advocate on behalf of this team.
  • Participate in regional business calls to provide guidance for achieving success and share best practices across the network.
  • Collaborate closely with other Local Marketing managers to share best practices, discuss trends, vet ideas, and identify opportunities for driving further growth.
  • Develop in-depth quarterly Marketing performance reports to track and calibrate performance to-date and recommend improvements for subsequent quarters.
  • Manage and reconcile quarterly and annual budget.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to the branch network, peers on the Local Marketing team, and across Central Marketing.

What you have

The ideal candidate can quickly establish strong partnerships and has a good understanding of relationship marketing channels, including events, social media, advertising, PR and corporate sponsorships.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven success in field or local marketing.
  • Experience partnering with Sales organizations to help them achieve their goals.
  • Basic knowledge of relationship marketing channels, ability to see connections to develop integrated marketing plans that bring together a coordinated set of tactics that deepen engagement across the prospect lifecycle.
  • Ability to work autonomously and a proven self-starter.
  • Attention to detail, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Data-curious and capable of leveraging results to help drive outcomes for the branch network.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Relentlessly curious, challenges the status quo, and seeks and implements recommendations for continuous improvement.
