Salesforce Lead Developer

Position Description
CGI has a need for a Lead Salesforce Developer to join our team in New England. You will be responsible for leading development effort for multiple Salesforce applications along with architecture review, defining Salesforce Security architecture besides hands-on develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize Salesforce applications by working in close interaction with business team, analysts and other members of the development team. This role requires a strong foundation in Salesforce coding and web development experience. You will also be a skilled developer proficient in utilizing OmniStudio to design and implement robust solutions for streamlined business processes and enhanced customer experiences.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Leading client facing activities including calls or demos for business development.
• Strong participation and directing responses in written proposal responses related to business development.
• Engaging with national Salesforce practice to stay up to date on the latest CGI solutions and best practices.
• Analyze, design, and develop complex Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
• Lead and participate in technical discussions, design sessions, and code reviews with the development team.
• Customize and configure Salesforce features and functionalities, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other tools.
• Implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems.
• Optimize system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and trends.
• Participate in the planning and execution of Salesforce projects and initiatives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II or higher certifications.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• Experience leading a team of developers.
• Strong presentation skills with part experience presenting in front of clients and executives.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and SOQL.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices including Omni Script and Omni Studio, data modeling, and security.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and API development.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000 - $161,600.
