Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for a Billing Analyst who will bring critical thinking, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. You will report to the Billing & Collections Manager, and will be responsible for all billing questions from customers and cross functional teams, provision orders, collaborate on projects and initiatives related to billing, and providing and detailing process improvements.

A day in the life of a Billing Analyst at Calendly

The day is filled with Slack channel fun, queries and updates! Team's are collaborating in full throttle via live calls and/or async. You may be working on a customer queue at one moment and the next you may be having conversations about a new initiative that will make Calendly best in-class. On a typical day, you will be working on:

  • Be a primary point of contact for our customers when they need help or have questions about their subscription, providing very best Calendly billing support experience
  • Navigate our billing systems to perform various activities for customers including but not limited to subscription activations, cancellations, changes, refunds, tax exemption assistance, billing information updates, etc.
  • Connect with customers to provide invoice copies and request purchase orders as needed, with a customer service oriented attitude.
  • Complete disputes/chargeback transactions in a timely manner
  • Supports the accounts receivable and billing functions as needed

What do we need from you?

  • Minimum of 2 years of billing experience, in a business to business and/or SaaS environment
  • Prior experience with, or exposure to, customer billing and invoicing, highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (strongly preferred)
  • Experience using Zendesk or similar system for ticket management
  • Superior math skills and attention to detail
  • Phenomenal written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with various systems in our Tech Stack (EX: Stripe, Chargebee, PayPal, Jira, Confluence, Profitwell, Slack, Zapier, etc.) (strongly preferred)
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

Available shift

In order to best serve our customers globally, and to support multiple time zones, seven days a week.

  • This role has a consistent 5-day per week work schedule that will be Sunday - Thursday 9 am - 6 PM
