Business Analyst (Hybrid - Flexible Options)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst for the Broadridge Investment Management Solutions Product Management team.

You will be assigned to project initiatives with primary responsibility of delivering detailed functional requirements in the form of Features and User Stories with Acceptance Criteria for development under an agile methodology. In this role, you ensure that all requirement details are communicated and approved by key internal and external stakeholders and subsequently, you will drive the delivery through the remainder of the SDLC.

Responsibilities
  • Identification, analysis, and detailed documentation of the current- and future-state business processes that require improvements.
  • You will prepare the requirements for agile development, directly assigned responsibilities will include writing features & stories, supported by acceptance criteria by set deadlines.
  • You will create, refine and be responsible for the review and validation of written specifications with the subject matter authorities, development team members, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion with all vital signoffs.
  • You will participate fully in the subsequent development lifecycle, discussing/agreeing story structures, agreeing estimates, participating in scrum meetings, assisting with preparation of 'Specification By Example' data and internal testing as well as Show & Tells and supporting formal client UAT.
  • You will provide status reports to management on an ongoing basis, stating progress and any issues that impede it.
  • You will play a key role contributing to and delivering Product strategy while working across cross-functional constituent groups, such as sales, product, tech, and account management.
  • Ability to engage with client end users and translate business needs and challenges into technical requirements and features.
Responsibilities
  • 3+ years of experience with Order Management and Portfolio Management platforms
  • Business Analysis experience
  • Knowledge of the Investment Management lifecycle essential
  • A self-starter who is comfortable interacting and coordinating with numerous stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational, verbal communication, and business writing skills
  • Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and handle time appropriately.
  • Ability to quickly understand new concepts and adapt accordingly.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities and opportunities to drive impact
