Business Systems Analyst - Procure to Pay

Job Summary

We are seeking an individual who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced, and enjoyable work environment. As a key member of our team, we are looking for a skilled and seasoned Business Systems Analyst with a robust background in implementing finance SaaS applications. As an IT Financial Business Systems Analyst within the Finance Apps team, you will be responsible for various tasks, including overseeing the Procure to Pay process, collaborating with the Accounts Payable and Procurement teams to enhance business processes through strategic design and automation.

What you get to do every day:

  • Collaborate in an Agile environment to liaise with business teams for issue resolution, proof of concepts, and addressing business concerns within the Coupa platform.
  • Collaborate closely with the Accounts Payable and Procurement teams to translate business requirements into high-quality, scalable systems that support the dynamic growth of Zendesk.
  • Play a vital role in cross-functional initiatives and projects within the Procure to Pay and or quote to cash domain, encompassing activities such as system implementations, operational refinements, and the seamless introduction of new functionality.
  • Manage the impact of Procure to Pay activities on finance systems, including ERP and accounting systems on Netsuite and Coupa. Assist the team with month-end close activities and reconciliations.
  • Dive into details by working directly with users to gather requirements, implement, test, and deploy new features regularly.
  • Quickly adapt to new technologies, think innovatively to find creative solutions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Operate within our best-of-breed finance applications infrastructure, including Coupa, NetSuite, and other leading SaaS application providers.
  • Perform system administration tasks, including user onboarding and offboarding, user access updates, and other administrative duties as necessary.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of implementing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise-class systems, covering planning, analysis, design, configuration, development, data migrations, system testing, cutover plans, and production support.
  • Possess a solid understanding of IT processes, including SDLC and change management.
  • Exhibit the ability to work independently, manage and lead small to medium projects, or contribute to larger programs requiring program management involvement.
  • Display a high level of intellectual curiosity to comprehend the current state, identify issues, propose solutions, and provide insights into potential positive and negative implications of decisions.

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, IT or experience in Procure to Pay operations.
  • 3+ years of experience in Coupa Administration or support experience - in Procurement and Pay module is preferable
  • Coupa Administrator certification is preferable
  • 3+ years leading projects in NetSuite with strong knowledge of the NetSuite stack and experience with all NetSuite modules (GL, AP, FA, Multibook, etc.).
  • Familiarity with agile scrum methodologies and collaborative work with a scrum team is preferred.
