Job Description Summary

This position functions as medical affairs between the organization and key external customers to further scientific exchange. S/he provides product and field scientific support as a Medical Affairs team member to Sales, Marketing, and Managed Markets by utilizing academic credentials, clinical knowledge, and scientific expertise to communicate with healthcare providers, academic researchers, and organizations. These relationships ensure that key opinion leaders and organizations have access to relevant scientific information, and also that insights gathered externally will be communicated to key cross-functional partners internally.

Integrated Diagnostics Solutions (IDS)

By aligning and simplifying our work, our Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) business unit aims to drive growth and innovation around everything from integrated specimen management to diagnostic solutions.

Main responsibilities:
• Provide technical advice to healthcare professionals, customers, distributors and sales representatives regarding use of products or devices
• Conducts presentations and product demonstrations at hospitals, conferences, seminars, trade shows, and other related events
• Support new product launches by providing key opinion leaders with information about products, services and value-added opportunities
• Provides consultation on existing and emerging technologies; identifies needs within accounts and targets strategic customers
• Work closely with marketing and sales teams to support promotional activities and to ensure compliance with local regulations
• Monitor industry trends and changes; maintain awareness of competitive environment
• Act as a liaison between internal departments and external clients; communicate regularly with marketing and regulatory personnel
• Facilitate resolution of complaints and service issues through communication with internal departments
• Collect data and maintain records on various projects as required
• Perform additional duties as directed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Nursing or similar
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Availability to travel extensively throughout the country up to 40% of working time
  • Must have experience with microbiology products.
  • Advanced English
  • Desirable Spanish
  • Must reside in São Paulo.
