The Role

The Operations Manager will primarily be responsible for managing a team and vehicle fleet requirements of operations in order to meet business goals. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual that will undertake all duties involved with the successful running of the Avis Budget Group facility. This exciting and fast paced role presents an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to utilise their leadership skills and operational expertise. This role would suit someone coming from Hospitality (Hotels/F&B Supervisor looking for Manager role etc).

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage vehicle fleet levels and employee rostering to meet customer demands
  • Leading small teams, ensuring accountability and responsibility for tasks completion (resulting in delivering KPI's).
  • Monitor levels of customer service and continually identify and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Action and monitor reporting and financial plans to contribute to the development of the annual business plan for your location.
  • Manage location performance against the strategic plan and implement necessary contingency measures to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Monitor the level of customer service being delivered and continually identify and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Create and facilitate a team environment within airport operations.
  • Identify and continually monitor employee needs and implement actions to increase employee satisfaction and manage the performance of employees as needed.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong leadership skills with previous experience in managing teams
  • Experience in coaching to further develop your employees while maximizing performance
  • Prior experience in hospitality, such as working in hotels or food and beverage business, is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while of multi-tasking capabilities
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent computer proficiency
