Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join the Order Processing area of Core Finance Engineering team. You will work with the engineering, product management teams and the System Integrator to define, test and implement the product roadmap for the platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the modernization and simplification of our order capture platform and enable business model flexibility in a lean/agile environment by contributing to an organization committed to continuous improvement.

You will report to a Senior Manager, Product Management

You will work in the US/remote

  • As a Product Manager within the Core Finance team, you will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to define the features that underlies our domain and use cases we support
  • Must have experience creating technical user stories, roadmaps, process flows and writing detailed wiki documentation, and managing a story backlog
  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria
  • Can draw Project roadmap and interact with Business owner, onshore team & Global Engineering team to drive the project end to end
  • Knowledge of software engineering disciplines, test driven development and development methodologies
  • Work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement
  • Must be well versed with best Agile practices and framework
  • Excellent Frontline leadership and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Document, manage defects from multiple sources
  • Collaborate with teams in multiple Geographies

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, business, or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in roles such as Product Manager, Quality Analyst or Project Manager for a technical product
  • Must have experience with Order Management, Billing, Subscription Management & Sales Commissions etc.
  • State things simply and persuasively for a variety of audiences - internal, external, business and technical
  • Must understand the business value of engineering decisions and how they affect the life cycle of the product
  • Experience with agile software development is MUST ( SCRUM)
  • MUST have experience with one of these Technology S4 HANA, Open Text or BRIM
  • MUST have Software or High-Tech industry experience
  • Self-motivated/independent/resourceful

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $134,000 and $216,700. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
