The Role:
We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Video Producer to join ApplyBoard's Video Production Team within the Marketing Department. Reporting to the Video Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the planning, production, and editing of cutting-edge videos that drive us closer to our mission of educating the world. What you'll be doing everyday:
- Collaborate with the Video Production Manager in leading the planning, production, and editing of a diverse range of video content to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Spearhead the conceptualization and development of engaging video concepts and scripts that align with organizational objectives.
- Serve as an expert on all aspects of the video production lifecycle, including in-person production elements, setup, and talent management.
- Develop and refine detailed shot lists aligned with pre-production briefs to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Prioritize and manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality videos.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to devise strategies for effectively reaching target audiences.
- Ensure consistent representation of the brand across all video content.
- Stay abreast of emerging video and marketing trends.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in video production, broadcasting, interactive media, marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a video production and post-production role within a marketing, technology or high-growth company.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills within a fast-paced production environment.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in videography, photography, scriptwriting, and post-production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and multimedia production in a Mac environment.
- Proven track record of delivering quality video projects on time.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.
- Exceptional skills in writing engaging scripts and generating creative ideas for video content.
