The Opportunity:

We're looking for a detailed oriented, dedicated and talented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing Finance team.

We are looking to hire two members, one for a 12-month fixed term opportunity and the other for a permanent position. Both are full time and entry level positions.

What you'll be doing everyday:
  • Build and maintain rapport by delivering excellent customer service
  • Respond and support responses to partner inquiries
  • Manage, update and clean customer accounts and internal data
  • Own tracking of activities on specific customer accounts
  • Follow-up with schools for confirmations of enrolled students and outstanding balances
  • Prepare and review revenue support and perform data entry into Accounting Software
  • Generate, send and follow up on customer invoices
  • Validate account credits to affiliates working with ApplyBoard
  • Verify, post and deposit payments received from schools
  • Support audit and month-end closing processes


What you bring to the table:
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant accounting, administrative and/or bookkeeping experience and knowledge
  • Completed a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting an asset
  • Education and/or software industry experience an asset
  • Working experience with Netsuite, GSuite and Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • High aptitude for prioritizing tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently when needed
  • High level of integrity, work ethic, and professionalism
