The Accountant will play an essential role in the General Ledger Accounting team, supporting accurate and timely financial reporting as our company continues to scale. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role will work closely with other accounting team members and business partners to ensure accuracy in key accounts, maintain strong internal controls, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.

Your impact
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts including cash, prepaids, fixed assets and expenses.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis and develop a strong understanding of financial data in the context of broader business operations.
  • Maintain documentation and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls to align with SOX requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing requested deliverables.
  • Contribute towards monthly and quarterly SEC reporting, including the tie-outs of financial statement filings, and various footnote disclosures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners such as Accounts Payable and Finance to establish best practices and drive continuous process improvement.
  • Participate in process improvement projects to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of close-related processes.
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

  • High degree of analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a strong sense of accountability in a remote environment.
Must have
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus, not required).
  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting or similar.
  • Understanding of US GAAP and internal control practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Excel and/or Google Sheets; experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is $64,000 to $80,000.
The actual base salary for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.
Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
