DraftLine is a data-driven creative group within Anheuser-Busch designed to transform AB into a market leader in the beverage space through customized stories and experiences for consumers. The draftLine team is looking for a Strategy Director to oversee a portfolio of Brand work and a team of draftLine Strategists. This person will act as a steward of our Brand teams, working cross-functionally with draftLine (Strategy, Creative, Production, Social Listening and Analytics, Media), Brand, and partner agencies to craft insights-driven strategies that increase the cultural relevancy of our Brands. The Strategy Director will strengthen Brand team relationships, proactively identify creative opportunities that fulfill our Brands' business needs, while mentoring and growing their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate Brand business needs into data-driven and consumer-focused creative briefs
  • Drive clarity for cross-functional draftLine team, ensuring objectives, timing, and KPIs are clear and aligned upon with stakeholders
  • Mentor and develop multiple Brand-dedicated draftLine Strategists
  • Identify strategic Brand opportunities from deep understanding of the category, trends and competitive landscape
  • Shape the development of work with sound creative, channel mix, and measurement feedback and recommendations
  • Educate on and promote channel best practices and advise Brand teams accordingly
  • Analyze and action performance metrics into optimization strategies
  • Act as a draftLine and Anheuser-Busch culture ambassador

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degreein related field
  • 7+ yearsexperience
  • Social/digitalexpertise and deep understanding of connections strategies
  • Self-starterdemonstrating proactivity, grittiness, and ability to take ownership
  • Highly creativeproblem solver adept at liaising between teams to drive results
  • Accountmanagement experience preferred
  • Previousexperience managing a team and desire to lead
  • Thrives in afast-paced environment
  • CPG experiencepreferred
