We are seeking a talented and experienced Manager to lead our software training development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the creation and delivery of high-quality training materials to our customers. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of software training methodologies, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our training programs meet the needs of all users and contribute to their success.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of all types of training content to ensure it aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a training team providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of effective training solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and with customer and partner-facing teams to understand user needs and translate them into training priorities.
  • Ensure training materials are up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with the latest product features and updates.
  • Monitor training program effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and metrics analysis, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external training vendors, and subject matter experts to leverage resources and expertise as needed.
  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new training technologies and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of training delivery.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote training offerings and support customer acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies related to software training development.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and drive results.
  • Proven experience leading a team that develops software training for users of all types, including internal and external customers, preferably in a technology and data-focused environment.  Experience with certification programs preferred.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, and multimedia software for training development.
  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  Experience with issue (and bug) tracking and agile project management tools such as Jira preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and advancements in software training.
