  • Will be part of the Life Sciences Group within the Global Services & Support Operations & Transformation Team. Within GSS you will work with a broad team, across multiple functions, and support our regional partners to contribute to the digital transformation PPI culture and Continuous Improvement.

How will you make an impact?

  • The Sr. Manager will lead the PMO and manage a staff of 8, including Projects, Software Projects, PPI, MBR, and QBR processes as well as STRAP. The cross-functional projects support a very large operations team that supports 2000 colleagues and 500M in revenue for our remote and field teams. Partnership with the GSS LT will be critical in the success of this role.

What will you do?

  • Lead and coordinate ongoing and regular cadenced projects both standard, and digital
    • Act as project champion and "general manager," leading multiple projects to optimize our theme "Because Science Can't Wait" and improve team's success towards our key performance indicators.
    • Responsible for all day-to-day operational aspects of projects, applying best practices & standards of project management to deliver on commitments.
  • Define and prioritize new projects to help accelerate success and efficiency of our business using the RICE methodology to prioritize every month and ensure pacing of projects to budget and post-delivery KPI's.
    • Identify business needs, manage sprint zero scope and convert program requirements to executable deliverables; develop and help maintain project plans and schedules.
  • Work closely with regional business excellence managers to ensure that global projects and processes account for regional considerations and help drive regional success.
  • Conduct bi-weekly PAC process to ensure LT is driving the objectives related to STRAP
  • Conduct MBR, and QBR program to support regional leaders
  • Conduct PPI program to ensure objectives are met to 10M PPI target

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related degree.

• PMP, Six Sigma, Practical Process Improvement, Agile Scrum.

  • 3+ years' experience leading multiple, cross-functional global projects
  • Proven success with business partners in getting projects approved (business case)
  • Experience or knowledge of common business systems, data analytics, PowerBI, Adobe Analytics, etc.

• Prior experience in a large service organization is required

• Prior experience managing PPI is required

• Prior experience leading through the delivery of a significantly complex software platform

• Experience with the Workfront platform is required

  • Exceptional communication skills with an astute attention to detail & accuracy.
  • Interpersonal savvy, including the ability to read a room and follow up on any outstanding items to ensure alignment and delivery of projects
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to build effective relationships, influence people, drive accountability and resolve conflict.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $143,000.00-$214,475.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
