The Opportunity

As a member of the Engineering management team at Workfront, you will lead, mentor, and grow software engineers and build highly effective product teams within an Agile environment. Your primary goal will be to drive your teams to turn concepts into reality and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, scalable, innovative software to the Adobe Workfront platform. The technology you produce will have visibility at the highest levels of the company and materially affect the favorable impact products have on our customers.

• You will hire and manage a team of extraordinary engineers while driving all aspects of the implementation and development process.
• Create and instill a team culture that focuses on engineering excellence but also encourages deep engagement with our customers and out-of-the-box thinking.
• Participate in the design and review of features, technology choices, architecture, designs, time and budget estimates, and test strategies.
• Develop and evolve engineering processes and teamwork models, applying creative problem-solving to optimize team efficiency.
• Work closely with teams and managers across Adobe in different geographies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in software engineering with 3+ years of recent experience leading software engineering teams, preferably with knowledge of technologies/languages in the Adobe Workfront stack (Java, React, AWS, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of software engineering practices, craftsmanship, metrics, quality and testing procedures, process creation, and enablement.
• Significant experience optimizing software processes to ensure teams are always running efficiently and constantly aspiring to improve.
• Ability to communicate details about the technical practices in software engineering in a way that makes sense and resonates with our customers and other departments in the business.
