Engineering Manager

• Lead and inspire an engineering team while fostering a positive work environment and providing mentorship.
• Develop and execute project plans in cooperation with the PMs, allocate resources, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager, and UX Designers to shape the product's future and minimize time to market for every product increment.
• Provide guidance, support problem-solving, and stay updated on industry trends.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and with other stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risks, developing contingency plans when necessary.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address performance issues promptly.
• Contribute to the development of the engineering strategy aligned with the company's overall goals.

• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of Agile Frameworks (SCRUM).
• Proven, experience in leading (2+ years) engineering teams using Agile principles and practices, with the proven ability to mentor, motivate, and support the growth of engineers.
• Experience managing, delivering, and monitoring impactful and complex projects and product development.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion to utilize cutting-edge technologies to provide the best customer experience possible.
• Solid understanding of the technical aspects of the team's environments, enabling effective guidance & decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills and command of English at level B2 or higher.

• Strong understanding of Jira and Confluence platforms.
• Good understanding of the overall Atlassian ecosystem.
• Good understanding of modern Cloud architectures/platforms such as Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Good understanding of product development platforms and best practices.

• Proven engineering experience (4+ years).
• Proven experience in leading remote teams.
• Proven experience in managing budgets and team expenses.
• Good understanding of policies, standards and frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, SOC 2 and etc.
