Senior Compliance Analyst, Affiliate Programs
About the team
The Affiliate Program Compliance team safeguards Zillow's innovative marketplace by ensuring transparency, consumer choice, and compliance across every settlement-service partnership. This team is responsible for establishing and developing best-in-class operations for affiliate compliance, central to our mission to make the process of buying or selling a home a consumer-friendly, state of the art experience that can be launched with just the click of a button.
About the role
Step into a pivotal role where you'll shape the future of compliance at the cutting edge of AI and product development. As the architect of our Affiliate Compliance Control Framework, you'll translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable product stories, embed controls directly into system architecture, and harness generative AI to automate everything from control drafting to anomaly detection to stakeholder reporting.
You Will Get To:
- Own the Affiliate Compliance Control Framework through designing new controls, maintaining a living control library, and updating artifacts when necessary to address product or system change while providing powerful reporting.
- Embed controls into product architecture by translating regulatory requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for product and engineering teams.
- Champion the use of AI-powered tooling, large-language-model assistants, predictive analytics, and automated testing to streamline control documentation, testing, and ongoing monitoring.
- Lead change-management reviews whenever features, partners, or jurisdictions shift; re-test controls pre-launch. Conduct independent assessments of products, systems, and processes to identify new or undiscovered compliance touchpoints.
- Act as liaison between Legal & Product to resolve compliance requirements roadblocks quickly and collaborate to deliver to product development and operational teams.
