Business Systems Analyst - Zuora/CRM

Job Summary

We are currently in search of a Business Systems Analyst to become a valued member of our expanding Financial Systems team. In this role as an individual contributor, you will assume the crucial responsibility of overseeing the day-to-day operations and integrations of our Quote to Bill Architecture which includes SalesForce CRM Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue. This entails coordinating the end to end dependencies across these applications that drive accurate Billing and Revenue Recognition, partnering with our Revenue Accounting and Revenue Operations teams to understand their business needs and converting them into functional and technical requirements, coordinating release processes, and conducting thorough system testing and issue resolution, all while upholding our rigorous internal control standards.

What you get to do every day:

  • Collaborate closely with Business Stakeholders to comprehensively capture and document business needs, forming the foundation for procedural enhancements through the effective utilization of SalesForce to capture accurate data that will impact integrations and data required to reflect accurate Billing and Revenue reporting within Zuora and additional relevant business applications.
  • Play a vital role in cross-functional initiatives and projects within the Order To Cash domain, encompassing activities such as system implementations, operational refinements, and the seamless introduction of new products.
  • Troubleshooting of system and integration errors, and building processes using the Process Automator functionality.
  • Complex configuration including building and maintaining user roles, workflows, process forms, and reports, maintaining master data, and other similar tasks.
  • Demonstrate proactive initiative by identifying potential areas for enhancement and proposing projects aimed at optimizing business operations, whenever applicable.
  • Develop integrations and automations through systems like Workato
  • Apply your knowledge of OTC system best practices and financial processes to propose solutions and specific requirements

What you bring to the role

Basic Qualifications:

  • Certification in Salesforce Required
  • Certification in Zuora Revenue and Billing Preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, IT or experience in Order To Cash operations.
  • 3+ years leading end to end OTC projects in Salesforce to preferably Zuora or other Billing and Revenue SAAS solutions, in addition to day to day support of the same System Architecture.
  • 3+ years of partnering with Finance Organizations
  • Solid understanding of Quote to Cash processes and controls
  • Understanding of NetSuite General Ledger
  • Business Relationship skills are a must

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years hands-on experience as an OTC Systems Administrator.
  • Ability to work closely with stakeholders to consult, train & improve knowledge of existing system features.
  • Ability to work with a fast-paced and agile team focused on strong execution.
