Customer Success Manager, Mid Market
Why You’re Important to Us:
Wunderkind is looking for a self-starting and dynamic Customer Success Manager to drive customer happiness with a focus on client management and efficiency. The Customer Success Manager role in our Mid Market segment involves a consultative and holistic approach to both digital marketing and client management — owning the customer lifecycle through strategy to renewal. This includes effectively delegating and working with service teams to clearly communicate needs, ensuring streamlined operations and optimal customer service delivery.
Day In The Life:
- Own the relationship and ultimate success of Wunderkind's Mid-Market customers, including strategy development, renewal, and upsell
- Lead the project management of end-to-end execution of client campaigns, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and maintaining high analytical standards.
- Provide an extra layer of Quality Assurance (QA) by checking campaign builds, monitoring for integration errors, and maintaining quality client campaigns through the proprietary Wunderkind platform.
- Partner with service team members to delegate work and deliver excellent client outcomes
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer key stakeholders and executive sponsors to fully understand your customer's business strategy and measurements for success
- Communicate and continuously reinforce how Wunderkind drives revenue, what our competitive advantage is, and why it is worth the investment through regular virtual touch points and occasional in-person meetings
- Serve as customer advocate internally while effectively collaborating with internal, cross-functional teams including product management, sales, engineering, and design

What We’re Looking For:
- Detail-oriented & organized: Capable of managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and ensuring campaign accuracy.
- Analytical mindset: Comfortable working with data, pulling reports, and drawing logical conclusions.
- Curious & eager to learn: Excited to build expertise in digital marketing, data analysis, and campaign execution.
- Technical-savvy: Familiarity with marketing software, analytics tools, and digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, email/SMS marketing tools) is a plus.
- Strong communicator: Ability to convey insights clearly through written and verbal communication, including presentations and reports.
You Will Stand Out With:
- 2+ years experience in customer success, technical account management or consulting
- Demonstrated track record working in a rigorous, results-driven role that directly impacted the growth of a business
- Excellent communication skills and EQ; you enjoy building relationships, overcoming push back and engaging in high touch client interaction, while setting appropriate expectations with clients
- Detail-oriented with the ability to project manage a book of 15+ clients, set priorities, and stay organized when managing client relationships
- Ability to collaborate with partner teams on client requests and service projects on behalf of managed clients

- Entrepreneurial spirit with a healthy dose of humility
- Demonstrated success in fast-paced and demanding environments; you have a strong bias towards action and accountability
- Experience working on campaigns with one or more email service provider (ESP) or text message marketing

The base salary range for this role is $60,000-$90,000 + $11,500 Variable. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
