World 50 is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting actionable insights from large datasets, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your expertise in SQL, Python, and business intelligence tools will be essential in shaping our data strategy.

As the leading membership organization for global executives, the insights you can help us extract from this unique data set could yield transformative results for the organization. The right candidate will play a central role in that endeavor and can present findings to senior management and impact the business in unprecedented ways.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Insights

  • Utilize SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyze large volumes of data.
  • Translate complex data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
  • Deliver analytical insights in a manner that is scalable, repeatable, and automated.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Utilize various visualization techniques and delivery methods that are audience appropriate.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, understanding their needs and challenges.
  • Effectively communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with teams to define data requirements and prioritize analytical projects.

Adaptability and Agility

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Multitask effectively, balancing multiple projects and deadlines.

Attention to Detail and Coding Excellence

  • Pay meticulous attention to data quality, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Demonstrate strong coding skills, maintaining clean and efficient code.

Preferred

  • Experience working within one of the large cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • Exposure to Snowflake and DBT.
  • Experience with unstructured data

Key Qualifications & Proficiencies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.).
  • 4+ years of experience as a data analyst.
  • Expert level proficiency in SQL
  • 2+ years of experience using Python for data analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience delivering insights with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Looker.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Location & Travel

  • Atlanta-area
  • Two days per week in Buckhead office
  • Limited travel, if any
