  • Work with multiple stake holders including Practice teams, Account Stakeholders, Sales teams & Finance teams to build an appropriate solution and pricing.
  • Own bid responses for customer RFXs.
  • Provide Bid guidance and co-ordinate to get win themes to Practice Teams/ Solution Design teams / Sales Teams
  • Improving sales enabling Sales Organization with proactive solution pitches
  • Track and monitor Opportunities throughout lifecycle of opportunity.
  • Preparing capability decks for customer presentations.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams from within the organization/customer to arrive at technical and tactical decisions.
  • Support customer visits and events
  • On-time reporting of bid status and escalation of any issues in the bid proceedings.
  • Contributing to Document repository of reusables and case studies.
  • Proper documentation and closure of bid including upload of submitted bid documents to Utilities presales portal for Bid archival.
  • Strong understanding of Utilities industry domain, SAP, Oracle, Cloud (Any), IOT and Analytics domains will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of typical sales process, Creating/Tracking pipeline, account strategies is added advantage.

Brief Summary of Role:

Wipro works with companies to address key challenges through the implementation of Wipro application-based business solutions. This individual contributor position is solely responsible for Wipro business development in a specified territory.

Responsibilities :

  • Meet, and hopefully exceed, services booking and revenue quotas
  • Actively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities in accounts
  • Network within the industry, market, and accounts to bring new client opportunities to the Wipro consulting account teams
  • Identify/develop key partner strategies for specific customers and market segments
  • Provide high content contributions to joint product and consulting opportunities around Wipro application solution areas identified above
  • Communicate effectively at all client levels
  • Quickly grasp client business and technical requirements and fit consulting solutions around those specific needs
  • Manage all phases of the business development cycles to successful close (including proposal development, implementation estimating, scope construction, and client presentations)
  • Proactively approach the market segment through active leadership in industry and community organizations
  • Add industry specific and technology solution expertise to the sales process
  • Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business .

Education and Required Experience:
  • BA/BS or equivalent; MBA is a plus;
  • Prior experience in business application sales,consultative selling
  • Proven track record of successful solutions-oriented services sales
  • Candidates with prior experience in Telecom Industry are highly desirable
  • Drive and motivation to sell on-demand products and services full-time
