Summary:
This career opportunity is leading Wipro Consulting's BFSI practice in North America. As the BFSI Head of North America, you will be responsible for leading and growing the consulting business across all sectors and capability areas, while developing deep and trusted internal partnerships. You will drive strategic initiatives, build strong client relationships, and deliver significant growth and scale all the while building robust and diverse teams. This role will involve collaborating with other leaders across the organization to shape the business strategy of the Americas practice and drive transformation for our clients.
This role is expected to deliver growth across the following areas:
- Transformation themes for BFSI.
- Consulting capabilities across Consumer, HCLS, EMR, Supply Chain and Talent & Change and other practices where appropriate.
Our North American BFSI Management Consulting Practice Leader is expected to build C-level relationships and leverage strategic partnerships as relevant for business growth strategy, in collaboration with the Global Account Executives and other business leaders globally.

Business Growth and Strategy:
- Define and execute a sound business growth strategy for the WC America's practice.
- Manage the topline revenue growth across all sectors and capabilities
- Lead origination efforts and large deals at our focus accounts, bringing all of our capabilities to our clients
- Focus on expanding the consulting business contribution to the overall revenue and market positioning.
- Build and nurture C-level relationships and pursue new business opportunities with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Foster partnerships with key ecosystem players to build knowledge and networks.
Practice Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of consulting professionals across different regions.
- Manage the overall profitability of the Americas Consulting practice
- Set goals and objectives, provide guidance and support, and foster a culture of excellence.
- Develop and implement a competency-building strategy to enhance the capabilities of the team.
- Drive thought leadership by engaging with industry leaders, analysts, and influencers.
Driving Transformation:
- Collaborate with clients to transform their business processes and solve complex challenges.
- Unlock and deliver customer value as a central theme across all activities and ensure client satisfaction.
- Identify and define differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within the WC America's practice sectors.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to shape opportunities.
- Drive transformation and innovation by shaping engagements using core and disruptive technologies.
- Deliver customer value as a central theme across all activities and ensure client satisfaction
Thought Leadership:
- Leverage partnerships & alliances in opportunity pursuits.
- Drive and increase brand awareness across markets.
- Provide insights and POV through white papers; conference presentations, books/articles, and internal reusable assets, etc.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Minimum 20 years of industry experience, including leadership roles in management consulting
- Strong BFSI domain knowledge and experience across multiple industries globally showing demonstrable success in growing a consulting region.
- Deep understanding of the market and external environment (STEPLE* - Social, Technological, Economic, Political, Legal & Environmental contexts).
- Proven track record of providing business insights including financial impact and growth.
- Proven track record of driving transformational and strategic consulting sales.
- Experience in consultative selling and creating value-based presentations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate and grow diverse teams, manage change, and achieve results.
- Entrepreneurial drive with a passion for learning and shaping one's own career path.
- Highly adaptable in dynamic environments and ability to integrate into a global matrix organization.
- Master's qualification, preferably an MBA.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $400,000 to $1,000,000. Based on the position, this role may include some form of equity participation and is eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
