Platform and Framework Engineering Leader

Lab45 is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to fill the dual role of Platform and Framework Engineering Leader & Account Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As the Engineering leader, you will be responsible for setting the technical vision and strategy, while also leading the development and evolution of our core technology platforms and frameworks. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing strategic guidance and driving innovation to propel our company forward. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate the Platforms vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market trends.

• Lead and mentor a team of platform and framework engineers, as well as other technical teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

• Drive architecture of a scalable, reliable, and secure platforms and frameworks that can be applied to both PaaS and IaaS

• Collaborate closely with product management, design, sales, and other teams to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver impactful solutions.

• Collaborate with other domains for taking solution to market - Legal, Finance, Pricing and other sales organizations.

• Influence other teams in Wipro and customers on the technology solutions. Validate and advise on solutions.

• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and technical innovation across the organization, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Establish and maintain processes, tools, and metrics for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing platform and framework performance.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, evaluating their potential impact and relevance to our organization.

• Effectively communicate technical concepts and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing insights and guidance on technical matters.

• In addition to platform and framework engineering leadership, fulfill the duties of a Chief Technology Officer, including technology strategy, innovation management, and technical decision-making at the executive level.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (more than 10 years) in a leadership role within platform or framework engineering.
• Demonstrated leadership experience as a Senior Engineering Leader or in a similar executive-level position.
• Strong technical expertise in software architecture, design, and development, with a focus on scalable and robust platforms.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Experience working in an agile development environment, with a track record of delivering high-quality software products.
• Strategic thinking and vision, with the ability to anticipate and respond to technological opportunities and challenges.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience building scalable platforms and/or SaaS
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of Devops, SRE, machine learning, data engineering, or big data technologies.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.
