About the Position: Content Developer

The ideal candidate for the Content Developer position embodies the maverick mindset and is driven to engage consumers in the products we sell. Bringing a growth mindset, this position will support the execution of our content strategy across all channels. Partnering with our external and internal partners, this position will collaborate with across the business to redefine the way content is managed and delivered across digital and physical touchpoints. This position requires someone who is an innovator beyond any category. A progressive track record with a proven ability to lead change, collaborate across all functions, and effectively prioritize in an ambiguous / fast-paced environment is a must.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Content Manger with the delivery of content (copy, imagery, etc.) across all required marketing channels. This includes developing content in-house when needed, as well as briefing agency partners for content creation and timely delivery.

Including the following:

  • Support the Content Manger with the delivery of content (copy, imagery, etc) across all required marketing channels.
  • Create and/ or edit content in-house when needed, specifically for quick, urgent projects. This includes, editing photography, asset creation for events and retail, and designing email templates and brochures.
  • Brief agency partners on content creation and delivery for the majority of content needs across channels
  • Develop and distribute timely, relevant content with a deep understanding of the audience aligned to our brand voice.
  • Support content workstream across projects collaborating across internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage content requests, review, and management processes to support the new business and brand.
  • Audit existing global content for brand voice, relevance, and optimized use.
  • Promote a consistent brand identity throughout all brand touchpoints
  • Support the long-term and short-term content publishing calendar across activations
  • Monitor content performance and optimize in partnership with agency

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graphic design experience, ideally expertise with motion programs and photo editing
  • Project management and/or agency management experience a must.
  • Speaks at least one of the local languages (French or German)
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Must be a team-player, have interpersonal skills, a creative mindset, have an eye for detail and be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to make quick decisions with incomplete or ambiguous data. Able to make sound decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment.
  • Ability to make/recognize effective trade-off decisions and can negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups, can win concessions without damaging relationships.
  • Ability to breakdown barriers and quickly achieve high impact progress within a bureaucratic organization. Ability to work well in a complex team environment and marshal resources (people, funding, material, support) to get things done; uses resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Takes a creative, open-minded approach to new ways to drive product and brand success. Has a start-up mentality.
  • Ability to develop effective collaboration and bring the creative ideas of others to market.
  • Ability to identify issues/opportunities and develop solutions/recommendations.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments utilizing highly efficient time management skills.
  • Outstanding project management capability
  • Possess the functional/technical knowledge and skill to perform marketing duties at a high level of accomplishment.
  • Highly effective presentation skills in a variety of formal presentation settings: one-on-one, small and large groups with peers and bosses, inside and outside of the organization
  • Ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles; can get messages across that have the desired effect.
