Senior Developer- Band B3

• Overall Experience- 6+ years
• At least 3 years of experience in ITOM BAU
• At least 1+ years of experience in Design and Implementation of Service Now ITOM Modules and Integrations - Event Management, CSDM, Discovery
• Responsible for ServiceNow Discovery Activities.
• Monitors discovery and service mapping results, reconciling and addressing any anomalies.
• Works with Service Owners and SMEs to ensure CI completeness & correctness.
• Experience with understanding data center components for mapping to CMDB.
• Fundamental understanding of networking including TCP/IP ports, firewalls, Network Protocols and IP networks.
• Intermediate level understanding of CMDB classes
• Working knowledge on clearing CMDB discovery related issues such as duplicate CIs, Port Issues and permission issues etc.
• Implementation/Design of CMDB MID Servers. Proactively plans capacity of ServiceNow MID servers and maintains and configures appropriately.
• Maintenance of MID servers.
• Knowledge on Implementation of cloud based discovery (internal & external) preferred
• Establishes, monitors and maintains discovery schedules.
• Ensures that horizontal discovery products are highly available, reliable, and performant.
• Strong knowledge on ServiceNow modules like Asset Management, CMDB and other ITSM applications preferred
• Exposure to third-party tools for integrations like SCCM, Orchestration, Qualys, Flexera, Orion and similar tool set.
• Knowledge on Service Mapping preferred
• Participate in project activities including project plans, assigning tasks, monitoring statuses, coordinating efforts, validating team recommendations, integrating efforts into a comprehensive strategy and delivering results on time.
• Create/Maintain ServiceNow discovery documentation/standard operating procedures documents.
• Must be ITIL Foundation / CSA certified.
• Certified CIS-ITSM / CIS-Discovery preferred.
