Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to resolve, maintain and manage client's software/ hardware/ network based on the service requests raised from the end-user as per the defined SLA's ensuring client satisfaction

- Key responsibilities
- Manage and administer Windows Server environments, including server installations, configurations, and maintenance.
- Assist in the management of Azure cloud services, including virtual machines (VMs), Azure Active Directory, networking, storage, and resource management.
- Perform regular monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Windows Servers and Azure services.
- Implement and manage Azure security features, windows firewalls, and access controls NSG/Storage.
- Provide L2 support for Windows Server and Azure-related issues raised by users or other IT teams.
- Handle patch management, backup, and disaster recovery, ASR procedures for cloud-based infrastructure.
- Collaborate with L3 teams on escalated issues and participate in root cause analysis.
- Support IT infrastructure audits and security compliance initiatives.
- Document configurations, processes, and resolutions for systems and applications.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of new system upgrades, migrations, and projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022).
- Experience in Azure infrastructure, including VM provisioning, networking, storage, and security.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file-sharing protocols.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Azure AD Connect.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, firewalls, etc.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating with internal teams and users.
Preferred Skills:- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or other relevant certifications.
- Experience with automation tools like PowerShell, Azure Automation, Devops , or similar.
