Job Introduction

Our team is growing! The US Analytics Team is increasing our influence within our global community, and we are now fully supporting our US Marketing and Commercial teams with direct knowledge and insights support. Through our work, we better understand the consumer and shopper along with the efficacy of our marketing and sales efforts.

Main Responsibility

Supporting our marketing and commercial teams with procurement and stewardship of quantitative and qualitative research, steward our US Brand Health Tracking and support measurement of marketing and promotion efforts. Additionally, collaborate with global partners on all global K&I projects and support roll out and organizational acceptance of major initiatives like demand sensing.

Our Ideal Candidate

It is important that our new team members are self-starters with ability to understand processes, learn new systems quickly and work efficiently and effectively. You will have 5+ year of experience and have direct experience in a knowledge and insights roll at a consumer goods manufacturer or worked for a market research agency working on quant and qual research directly. The salary range for this role based out of our New York City office is $144,900 - $162,357.

Other skills and qualifications include the following.

Essential:
  • 5+ years of direct experience at a research agency or in a Knowledge and Insights role at a consumer goods manufacturer
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required
  • Skills: Must have deep experience in execution of first person research including but not limited to Focus Groups, Ethnographies, Usage and Attitude Studies, Conjoint Analysis, other quantitative and qualitative research
  • Direct experience in execution of measurement studies such as cross media are creative pre-testing
  • Proven track record of influencing an organization based on results of consumer research
  • IS Systems: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Strong communication, organizational and task management skills
  • Strong influencing & leadership capabilities
  • Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Orientation to detail, with a specific focus on accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task many items at once in a deadline driven environment
  • Creativity and innovative thinking in approach to processes, analytics and problem-solving
Desirable:
  • Spirits: Working knowledge of adult beverage categories and retail and on-premise outlets
  • Experience managing econometric studies like Marketing Mix Modelling and Price Elasticity
  • Direct experience in evaluation of new products and innovation
