The Real Estate Asset Manager manages moderately complex real estate assets and portfolios that contain a variety of property types that include vacant land and lots, farms and ranches.

- Duties will include any or all of the following: selling assets, buying assets, negotiating leases, supervising renovation/maintenance/repairs, inspecting assets, internal portfolio and asset reporting, and arranging appraisals or valuations as necessary
- Develop and retain business through exceptional service to clients, trust beneficiaries and internal partners
- Manage risk and ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures related to ongoing asset review and reporting activities
- Provides clients with solutions to ensure client portfolios are managed to achieve maximum investment performance
- Collaborate and consult with brokers, attorneys, accountants, Wells Fargo internal partners, property managers, and contractors to develop and communicate recommendations, decisions and concepts to clients derived from research
The portfolio makeup for this role will primarily be Farm and Ranch/Agriculture based with some residential. Primarily will cover Central/South Texas, therefore will need to be familiar with oil and gas surface activities.
This position may sit within any wealth office in the state of TX and the market coverage will align accordingly.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Fiduciary Specialty Asset Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Broad agricultural real estate industry experience, including a combination of asset management, leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, development, construction management, lending, underwriting, financial reporting, market research, and property management
- Experience serving high net worth clients in a financial services environment
- Understanding of wealth management practices including financial and/or estate planning
- Solid understanding of property accounting, financial statements and financial analysis (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, etc.)
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and enhance client relationships leading to retention and increased revenue
- Sound judgment, problem solving, and risk assessment in the application of analytical conclusions and management recommendations
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships and work effectively in a team environment
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Superior working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Undergraduate degree in real estate, finance or accounting. Graduate degree preferred.
