About this role:

Wells Fargo seeks a Senior Business Execution Consultant for the Operational Excellence Team in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Lending Operations, supporting the firm's fastest-growing business. As this growth accelerates, so does the need to support our businesses and partners.

The Senior Consultant will work on lending transformation initiatives, analyze and create operating models, identify and deliver process optimization, automation, and functional improvement.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of complex transformation initiatives with unique challenges related to business execution that require consulting on business initiatives, understanding the businesses' needs, and delivering long term and large-scale solutions
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of business and serve as an experienced advisor to leadership
  • Support cross functional teams using business expertise and provide guidance to diverse partner groups within and across line of business
  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives using required analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy, business execution, and understanding of international business
  • Create recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that include risk mitigation, efficiency, and client/customer experience
  • Drive the implementation of innovative and significant business solutions
  • Collaborate and consult with peers and leadership

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking and/or Lending Operations experience
  • 4+ years of Project and/or Change Management experience
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail with ability to draw conclusions and translate findings
  • Strong ability to work independently, and to effectively interact with process owners and business partners
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying root cause(s) of issues, developing solutions that mitigate risk, and finding opportunities to improve efficiencies
  • Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, partnering and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior management
  • Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
  • Ability to develop operational reporting and perform complex data and trend analysis using advanced Excel techniques
  • Successful completion of Process Management Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile or Design Thinking
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
Job Expectations:

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$75,600.00 - $149,400.00
