Operations Associate Manager

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Associate Manager.

In this role, you will:

  • Supervise a team of Operation Specialists responsible for moderately complex transactional and operational tasks such as processing servicing related tasks, identifying problems, improving service levels and develop metric to measure growth and performance.
  • Ensure timely completion, quality, and compliance within the operation area.
  • Work independently on moderately complex issues and projects.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and escalates issues to senior management.
  • Provide training, performance, evaluation and coaching of less experienced team.
  • Make daily supervisory decisions and resolve moderately complex business issues related to team supervision, work allocation and daily operational tasks under direction of Operations management.
  • Leverage interpretation of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers.
  • Lead team to achieve objectives.
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Operations.
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within the Operations functional area.
  • Develop and implement business unit strategies.
  • Provide expertise for technical, operational and processing functions related to business unit.
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Operation management functional team to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables.
  • Lead team to achieve objectives.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with the function or affected by its outcomes.
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.
  • Manage transitions and migrate additional processes from US.
Required Qualifications :

  • 8+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Experience of more than 5 years in commercial real estate banking.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate ideas to diverse business and technical audiences.
  • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills.
Required Qualifications :
  • Experience in Operations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Accounting & Finance or related discipline.
  • Any professional Finance/Accounting/Economics certification would be a plus.
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication and collaboration skills in diverse.

  • 8+ years of Financial/banking services industry experience.
