About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Growth Strategy Consultant for Advice and Planning Center of Excellence across Wells Fargo. This role will primarily serve Wealth & Investment Management, including PCG, WBS, FiNet, Independent, WFAS and associated field support groups, partner closely with National Sales, Branch Support, CRG leadership and WIM Product Centers of Excellence. In this role, you will:

  • Provide support for product application with Advice and Planning systems, platforms and processes
  • Triage field questions, problems and suggestions to appropriate leadership resources for communication and resolution
  • Collaborate and consult with project teams, internal partners and stakeholders to ensure product integration and application
  • Train the trainer support for line of business field leaders and support teams
  • Product rollout materials and guides for new launches, feature enhancements and tool/application decommissioning
  • Resolve issues, achieve growth in market share, meet customer needs, and serve as a train-the-trainer mentor
  • Lead complex initiatives for business development including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in large scale planning initiatives and growth opportunities in assigned business channels, customer segments and markets
  • Review, analyze, and research complex, multi-faceted business challenges within Business Growth Strategy functional area which require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors both tangible and intangibles or unprecedented factors
  • Identify and select best channels and product combinations to improve effectiveness and efficiency of coverage in marketplaces to meet the unique needs of customers
  • Ensure adherence with compliance regulations and policies within Business Growth Strategy functional area
  • Make decisions on complex and multi-faceted development and growth strategies for designated markets requiring solid understanding of Business Growth Strategy functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead team to meet business objectives, deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with Business Growth Strategy mid-level to most senior leadership, colleagues, stakeholders, field resources, influencers and community leaders for both internal or external customers

  • 5+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years working with Financial Advisors or WIM Home Office support teams
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with business partners across all disciplines and within Advice and Planning Team on change events and product launches and enhancements, including delivering Train the Trainer to the Field Support teams
  • Mastery in telling a senior executive narrative through PowerPoint with impactful illustration, facts and clarity
  • Understanding of Advice & Planning tools and processed, particularly LifeSync, eMoney or planning, Client Review Center and Account Aggregation and how those workflows into the advisor workstation
  • Advanced communication skills to unpack complex issues and differing points of view to move a conversation and business decisions forward
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 66, or equivalent
