Waters Wexford are looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join their team!
This exciting opportunity will involve the development, improvement and monitoring of quality control management systems to ensure the highest levels of product quality, operational excellence and customer satisfaction, whilst maintaining regulatory compliance.
Within the Quality Department we are responsible for providing Quality Management Systems and regulatory guidance to our business partners. We work with everyone to identify risks, solutions, make right, timely and practical decisions.

Responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
Sampling of raw materials and components in accordance with approved procedures
Incoming inspection of raw materials and components to ensure that they meet specifications and are suitable for use at Waters Technologies Ireland
Ensures that all materials sampled and tested are identified (quarantine, approved, on hold, or rejected) in accordance with current Good
Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) requirements
Document, file and maintain inspection records. Ensuring that specifications are maintained up to date and meet inspection requirements
Inspects finished products to ensure that they are accurately identified and conform to approved finished product specifications / Bill of Materials
Performs Quality release checks on IVD products prior to shipping
Performs Approval of Product Labels / Literature.
Maintenance of the MRB area
Handling and physical management of nonconforming material and the associated documentation
Assists and participates in the distribution, retrieval, and filing of controlled documents (SOPs, Work Instructions) as well as other Quality documents
Performs a quality review of records, procedures, work instructions, forms etc. to ensure that they are accurate, complete, and aligned with the process and with the requirements of the quality management system/GMP
Initiation of Engineering Change Notes to ensure compliance with the quality management system and Waters Technologies Ireland business requirements
Qualifications
To be successful:
Leaving certificate or equivalent qualification, further academic qualifications would be advantageous to this position.
Proven experience and relevant industry experience, working in an ISO9001, ISO13485, cGMP or other suitable quality position
SAP/Trackwise experience desirable
