Overview
Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for a 1st shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience with a wide varity of equipment and utility systems.
Responsibilities
This position requires a self-starter who is able to work independently with a wide variety of equipment in an ISO 9000 environment.
In this role, the individual will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks in a highly automated chemical manufacturing environment. The equipment the candidate will be working on will include:
- Reactors, Filters and Drying Ovens
- Chillers, Air Compressors, Boilers, Pumps
- HVAC units, Cooling Towers and Heat Exchangers.

Qualifications
Education:
- High School diploma - minimum
- Technical trade degree is a plus
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in repair and maintenance required.
- Basic pipe fitting experience
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to comprehend and follow written procedures and documentation
- Ability to learn new processes
- Excellent communication skills
