As Financial Accountant Wyatt Europe, you will serve as a trusted Business Partner to our business management team to increase organisational efficiency and to inspire high performance culture. Our Finance Functional team is a very professional yet comfortable group to work in. You will be able to utilise your expertise in various strategic projects and to execute them with the constant support from the team. Responsibilities

  • Check and post incoming and outgoing invoices (A/P and A/R invoices); including intercompany invoices and reconciliation
  • Ensure timely and accurate travel expense booking and payments based on Concur portal
  • Support US GAAP month-end close processes
  • Support on time statutory filling, accurate VAT return, other local taxes and statutory reporting requirements of the German legal entity.
  • Responsible for meeting all financial compliance requirements, including internal controls (SOX), internal and external audits.
  • Support integration projects with Waters processes.
  • Assisting in any ad hoc duties assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Commercial education (Kaufmännische Ausbildung) and additional accounting qualification

Experience:

  • Relevant professional experience in an equivalent role
  • Knowledge of German GAAP & TAX rules, demonstrated both in theory and practice. Additional US GAAP knowledge would be an advantage
  • International and diverse environment
  • MS Office Package, strong Excel skills
  • Navision or SAP experience would be an advantage

Languages:

  • Proficient English and German Language Skills (written and spoken);

Travel:

  • A valid passport will be required;
  • This position requires occasional travel within Germany or to other countries for activities such as meetings and training.
