Your New Role
The Solution Architect will design and develop the system architecture for the complex, large scale Consumer Products application landscape. This resource will work closely with our end users and Business Analysts to understand the business process and system requirements. The Architect will be accountable for the technical design that achieves the business requirements. This role will evaluate technology solutions and recommend the solution that best meets or exceeds the business needs.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Solution Implementations: Directs the design, build/configuration, and delivery of complex, large scale transactional technology solutions to meet business requirements. Acts as the primary technology lead, seeking out opportunities to leverage existing and emerging technologies. Evaluate solutions and make recommendations for the system selection and implementation. 50%
- Integrations: Architects the interfaces and connections between different systems to ensure seamless communication and data exchange. They are responsible for designing and implementing the integration solutions that allow various systems to exchange data and operate cohesively. This involves defining APIs, message formats, data mappings, and orchestrating the flow of information between systems. 50%
Qualifications & Experiences
- 5+ years of experience as a software solution/systems architect/designer
- 3+ years of experiencing managing technical teams
- 3+ years of scripting language (Python, OOP languages; C# and Java preferred)
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft is desirable but not mandatory
- Proven experience in defining software architecture and working with development teams to implement solutions and integrations
- Proven experience working with large highly complex development projects
- Experience conducting technology, trends, standards, and products research and implementing best practices
- Solid track record in prioritizing and executing tasks when under pressure
- Demonstrated experience influencing technology partners allowing them to make sound strategic decisions to modernize and optimize their system
- Leadership experience guiding teams with varying degrees of experience
- Proven experience identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical problems
- Familiarity with Informatica, Business Central, and Salesforce a plus

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Not Required but preferred experience:
- Cloud certification (AWS or Azure)
- MuleSoft ESB experience
- Familiarity with Informatica
- Consumer Product system experience

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $109,900.00 - $204,100.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
