The Role:

This role leads media planning strategy for a selection of STV and FTA brands within the ANZ portfolio. Overseeing media planning strategy and implementation, this role aims to maximise the ratings performance of our STV and FTA channels, content and On Demand platforms. As a global media business, this role will require regular communication with international colleagues in the APAC region and beyond. Flexible working hours required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ANZ media planning strategy across a selection of STV & FTA brands.
  • Maximise the performance of tentpole content across a selection of STV brands.
  • Maximise the performance of DTC services/platforms across a selection of STV & FTA brands.
  • Establish clear metrics of success for each brand across each platform.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • At least 3 years' experience within a media planning role within the media entertainment industry.
  • Ideally, at least 1 years' experience in leading people and teams across media planning.
  • Experienced in IBMS, GripIt and TechEdge.
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to adhere to daily deadlines.
  • Ability to work to the flexibility of the 24-hour nature of broadcast TV.
  • Independent thinker with a strategic mindset. Able to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated.
  • Analytical skills and fluency in the use of data to deliver insights and inform decision Making.
  • Exceptional levels of commitment and passion.
  • Facilitates and encourage innovation and improvement in the workplace.
  • A good regional network and an ability to build networks inside organisations; collaborative.
  • Influential approach to problem solving.
  • Able to work readily and easily with many different personalities and nationalities in a highly matrixed and international structure.
  • Dynamic personality, adaptable, a high-degree of professionalism.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent people management skills; able to lead, coach and develop direct and indirect reports.
