Your new role
Manage and execute technical and operational workflows for OTT digital products and social media platforms, including streaming, programming, capacity planning, availability, monitoring, validation, and issue escalation, to ensure proper preparation, continuity, and successful delivery of live event broadcasts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support activities related to live event platforms, including VOD content availability and platform-specific features such as content catalogs, imagery, programming schedules, and performance analytics.
Contribute to ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement efforts across all platform components to enhance performance, reliability, and user experience.
Your role accountabilities:
• Operate CMS (Content Management System) products across both Front-End and Back-End, managing operational workflows to ensure the availability and proper presentation of content on digital platforms. This includes handling signal input, encoder profiles, bandwidth, endpoints, CDN, cloud capacity, and overall performance.
• Configure and perform platform parameterizations according to predefined specifications, monitoring operations, identifying issues, and triggering the appropriate resolution mechanisms to ensure the technical and operational continuity of digital products.
• Analyze daily incidents by gathering and documenting information for post-mortem event analysis, contributing to the creation and implementation of mechanisms aimed at the continuous improvement of operations.
• Execute and support the implementation of routines across the teams responsible for digital content delivery, ensuring optimal tracking of projects and commitments related to digital products.
• Create digital graphic material (clips, full shows, interviews) using video editing tools for distribution across social media, OTT platforms, and other digital channels.
Qualification & Experiences:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computer Science, or technical IT certification.
• Advanced english
• Knowledge and experience in video streaming technology, web services (API calls), and system integrations.
• Proven knowledge in the design and operation of video streaming platforms for live events and VOD with high volumes of concurrent users.
• Ability to operate and configure content delivery networks (CDNs).
• Proficiency with project management, collaboration, repository, and incident tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Monday, Git).
• Experience with cloud services such as Amazon AWS, Azure, etc.
• Strong knowledge and experience in executing operational activities by following procedures and implementing ad-hoc solutions when required.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays occasionally, according to Live Events Schedule of Sports Events and International Awards.
Other nice to have:
• Broad knowledge and experience in the media industry with a focus on technology-related activities.
• General understanding of digital platform architecture and OTT services.
• General knowledge of video processing, encoding, transcoding, and DRM protection.
• Strong interest in sports, especially football (soccer).
