Your New Role...

We at Warner Bros. Discovery are looking for a strategic and agile L&D Programme Manager to lead our global leadership development initiatives. In this high-impact role, you'll manage a dynamic portfolio of programmes for leaders at all levels, ensuring they are scalable, inclusive, and aligned with business transformation.

In your role you will collaborate with global stakeholders and external partners to design and sometimes deliver engaging learning experiences, while bringing structure, creativity, and a consumer mindset to everything you do. If you thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and are passionate about shaping leadership at scale-this is the opportunity for you.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Program Management

  • Lead the global leadership development calendar, ensuring smooth, high-quality delivery.
  • Resolve issues during sessions and ensure continuous improvement through feedback and evaluation.
  • Communicate effectively across formats (e.g., materials, sessions, newsletters).
  • Build strong relationships with global stakeholders, vendors, and internal clients.

L&D design

  • Conduct needs analysis to identify skill gaps and define learning objectives for Director-level leaders.
  • Co-create or curate engaging, relevant content aligned with business goals.
  • Maintain leadership development resources and inventory.

Resource Management

  • Manage budgets, logistics, and scheduling with support from the Ops team.
  • Maintain a global events calendar and coordinate faculty logistics.
  • Develop efficient processes to support programme delivery.

Insights and Data

  • Monitor programme quality, participant progress, and outcomes.
  • Deliver regular impact reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail - ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously e.g. managing budgets, resources, and logistics.
  • Proven experience in L&D design and implementation (management/early leader level)
  • Ability to provide insights and data-driven reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical and adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in LMS (e.g., Workday) and Excel (intermediate/advanced).
  • Comfortable working independently and in matrixed, fast-paced global environments.
  • Flexibility to work across global time zones.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
