Your New Role...
Warner Bros. Discovery's US Networks team seeks a Director of Communications to lead all media relations and publicity efforts for select networks and brand priorities. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Communications & Talent Relations, this position will help strategically guide the public relations practices for an assigned group of networks and priority projects.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Confer with SVP/VP to develop communication strategy and media relations plans, in support of the US Networks programming.
- Supervise the execution of publicity campaigns in conjunction with project leads and publicity support team.
- Develop deep relationships with talent and talent reps, producers, and partners to effectively manage and negotiate all talent and logistical requirements for press activity, including set visits, tours, premieres and press junkets.
- Skilled writer, able to work on multiple releases simultaneously, including extrapolating key information and distilling into a succinct written asset.
- Capable of identifying, navigating, and seeing to resolution, communications crisis in the making.
- Direct activities of external agencies, establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with media representatives.
- Assist with awards campaign strategizing.
- Manage and maintain publicity budgets for all projects.
- Other duties as needed and as directed by SVP/VP.

Qualifications & Experience...
- 8-10 years of experience in the Public Relations/Press field.
- Education: Bachelor's in related field
- Proficient in directing press agencies and handling reporters.
- Demonstrated track record as a creative and successful press professional.
- Ability to grasp, process, and translate the technological landscape which drives our businesses from both the industry and consumer perspective.
- Must be a decisive, experienced leader with strong interpersonal skills who will develop and communicate the press vision. A depth and breadth of professional experience is critical.
- Must effectively troubleshoot with an eye toward anticipating, identifying, and forming strategic solutions.
- Must be well organized and possess the ability to manage a multitude of projects simultaneously.
- Ability to take on more responsibility as required by SVP.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $109,900.00 - $204,100.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
